The Japan Testing Center for Construction Materials is an incorporated foundation on August 15,1963, approved by Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry according to The Civil Law. 1st scope covers testing, evaluation and certification of the construction materials and the building components. The goal is to make contribution to achieve better quality in the national life style through putting forward the development of the construction industry. The organization is composed of the Head Office, Headquarter for Performance Evaluation, Headquarter for lSO Certification and Registration, Central Laboratory and Nishinihon Laboratory. It contains over 200 human resources and is the largest testing organization in Japan.
